The Marlin Art Gallery
The Marlin Gallery was established as a premier location for the exhibition of contemporary fine art and craft. Located in Lincoln Hall on the College’s Blackwood Campus, the gallery features 600 square feet of exhibition space with an adjoining lobby for hosting artist receptions and other events. The gallery’s mission is to provide an accessible venue for students to view and exhibit art, as well as a local exhibition space for professional artists to display their work.
The Marlin Gallery features emerging, mid-career, and established artists from throughout the region specializing in disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, installation art, ceramics, and glass. The gallery holds multiple exhibitions annually, including solo or group exhibitions, faculty shows, student shows, and the Camden County High School Invitational.
In 2009, the gallery was named in honor of the late Dr. William Marlin, the first full-time art faculty member of Camden County College. Dr. Marlin was instrumental in establishing the gallery, and it continues his mission to increase exposure to the arts for the college and the community at large.
